i’ve worked with the LA dream-gaze band Winter on three music videos (two with Noisey premieres), video projections at The Echo in echo park/los angeles, as well as created a video sculpture for their merch table on tour (a crt tv set up with analog processed animations of a retro-futurist “WINTER” logo playing).

jonny and i met on a music video i directed for wyatt blair back in 2015— i loved his enthusiasm, energy and oddball sensibility. i was honored when he asked me to direct his first music vid for his single, Jessica Triangle off his first 2019 LP. since then we’ve collaborated a couple more times: one on a live video shot at Zebulon here in LA and another music video for his vibey 00’s R&B pop track, FOOL released in 2021. peep them below—

wyatt blair and i have collaborated several times over the years, his music makes developing unique video nostalgias quite liberating— writing great pop hits from another decade, anywhere from glam, big hair 80s, new wave, to just good ol’ rock n roll. i was lucky enough to be able to enjoy the complete freedom in exploring those nostalgic thresholds through he and his side project The Broken Hearts. our projects have premiered on Spin Magazine and Still in Rock music blog.
